Have you ever heard of math trades?  The idea behind math trades is that a number of folks list items they’re willing to trade, then, once everyone has listed, decide which other items they’d be willing to trade each for. I won’t bother going through the theory behind it here, but, for many years, I participated in math trades and ran math trades, acquiring a large number of interesting games as a result. At The Gathering of Friends, I still participate actively in it, and always get some interesting trades as a result – the international audience leads to a more interesting set of items available, in my opinion, and the lack of need to ship anything makes it both less expensive and less effort to participate.  And in this year’s math trade, I traded for ten games – including four Japanese games I hadn’t played previously which sounded interesting.  One of which, was Vogu.
