DOLLARS AND SENSE

 

This issue of Gamers Alliance Report is being published just as the Holiday Season buying rush is getting into gear. Pretty soon, families will be spending time around the Thanksgiving table, gifts will be bought for the Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa celebrations and, of course, if you are the kind of person who reads GA Report, some of those gifts will, more than likely, be in the form of games. 

Hopefully, the year has been good to you and you have saved up your discretionary funds so you will have plenty of dollars and cents to spend on carefully calculated gifts for those near and dear. But you have to be smart about it. Pretty packaging and hyped up enthusiasm (from so-called “experts” who are all too often paid to be “enthusiastic”) does not always translate into good value. So where do you go to know that your hard earned leisure time money is being spent wisely and that the good intentions you have actually end up as good results? The obvious answer is right before you: Gamers Alliance Report! 

It’s hard to know who to listen to when you look for some insights into your potential game purchases but we’ve been doing this for a very long time. In fact, this issue kicks off our 33rd consecutive year!!! It’s not an accident that we’ve lasted this long when so many gaming publications have bit the dust; a variety of reasons account for it. But I think one of the most important involves trust. You can trust the unbiased, unpaid for reviews of games in our pages and these reviews are your best protection against the avalanche of insincerity that our gaming hobby has attracted. You have the dollars. Let Gamers Alliance Report help you make sense of it all!

In this issue of Gamers Alliance Report, we makes sense of a lot of games out there as we trek west as pioneers, guide the growth of prehistoric tribes, go to market, build a world and more.
